Theyre not really strictly sticking to exact decades, as this episode made clear. Episode 5 was mid 80s through early 90s, with references to Growing Pains, Family Ties, and Full House. This new episode was Malcolm in the Middle, the first half of the 00s.

Yeah, episodes 1 and 2 both switched between Bewitched and I Love Lucy references. They're still going chronologically in general, but not in a super strict way.

I've been enjoying this so far, but they better finish up with the sitcom of the week thing. They basically chose the worst sitcom of every time period to base it on. Malcolm in the middle was AWFUL. So was growing pains. Bewitched gets a pass, barely and so on.

Yeah, people are expecting it to be Reed. Though, Hayward also mentioned that the Snap left a SWORD team missing on an outer space mission, which people think might be the Fantastic Four since it can tie into their original story easily enough. So if that's the case, I don't think Reed could be the engineer.

Either way, if Reed does appear, I dunno if that would be the "super big cameo" Olsen mentioned, since Reed would be a brand new character played by a new actor (hopefully). I figured she was talking about a cameo from an already established character, like Fox's Magneto or something.

I hate it. Theyve really fallen down on the sitcom portion of the show. I mean, we skipped the 90s? We went from Family Ties to Malcolm in the Middle? And why are Wanda and Vision in 80s style costumes? It seems thematically off.

Someone mentioned how 90s sitcoms werent much different from 80s sitcoms in terms of filming style and overall story (other than going from mainly family driven stuff to group of friends and/or coworkers driven stuff which Wanda wouldnt relate to so shed skip it on purpose)

Finally got around to watching it. Every episode leaves me wanting more. I'm really glad they went with a TV show. I don't think this story would work in movie format.

We also got confirmation that Wanda really is just marionetting Vision's corpse.

I think Agnes is a Sword agent. We know that Hayes was keeping secrets, and Darcy said there was still a big one she hadn't cracked yet.

I was so fucking upset when leader guy was like "by the way I'm gonna be evil now so our characters can sympathize with the ragtag #relatable squad"

Anyway, I know they're setting up someone to be a villain, and Agnes is the most likely candidate by virtue of being the only recurring character besides Herb, but God I wish we could just go with it being Wanda doing this by herself. No manipulation from Agnes, no one egging her on, just Wanda having a good ol' mental breakdown.
But Quicksilver's poking and prodding of "how did you do all this" and Wanda's "idk I remember being sad and then I was here" makes it pretty clear that Wanda's going to be A-OK after all of this.

What I wanna know is what Quicksilver is. Did he get tugged in from the FOX universe? Is he just a hollow puppet Wanda's playing with that's pushing her to question what's happening? Is he a plant who's trying to get this to end?

Kinda nitpicky tbh. I do imagine it's easier to hack into something when you're sitting in the server room with the daughter of the woman who founded the organization.
