Back in August when my girl moved in with me, I had a former roommate that came into town the same weekend. Usually up to that point when he was in town I didn't mind him staying over for a couple of days before he went back. But since I was helping someone move in I told him he couldn't and he got pissed at me as if I betrayed him or something. Didn't talk to him for a couple months and then he finally hit me back up and said he was sorry about the way he came at me so we've been cool since then.

Now today a different friend asked if he could come over this weekend. Well it's valentines weekend and my girl had to request off of work so we could spend the weekend together so I told him this weekend was for me and her and that we could hang some other weekend. And he got proceeded to get mad at me saying we don't hang out as much as we used to because I'm always making plans with her. Mind you, we hung out just a couple of weeks ago. And typically I work weekday mornings and she works weekday nights, and only has Saturday off during the week because she works Sundays as well. So in any given week, usually me and her have only one day off of work together so yeah I do typically have plans on Saturdays these days.

But he's been over to watch football on Sundays a fair few times the past few months so it's not like we never hang out anymore, I think he's just mad we no longer hang out the entire weekend so we can stay up all night playing games and watching shows and stuff like we used to since I can't stay up too late on Sundays because of work.

Anyone else have these issues after you were no longer single?

No. And no offense to your boy, but the guys that act like that are just immature. People grow up and things change. Doesn't mean you're not still boys. He's gotta come to terms with the fact that you will be spending time with your girl. Nothing wrong with that.
