They knew the game on console was broken to the point of being unplayable. They knew it wasn't even passable on any single level, it was completely broken in every way it could be broken. What did they do? They wouldn't let reviewers review console version, they only let them play on PC and forced them to use their footage. That is reprehensible. They knew console viewers would look at those reviews and throw their money at them for it all while knowing they wouldn't even get a game that was playable. There is no going back from that and there is nothing that can be said besides saying that they conned people into paying for a broken mess. There is no other way to put it, they conned people. This wasn't one mistake that got overlooked.
