So I bought a game a couple weeks ago on eBay. I played it for about 15 minutes before the game crashed.
I took the disc out and cleaned it and loaded the game back up and got the same message again. I wound up buying the game from Amazon instead. Will I need to uninstall the game and then reinstall it? I am playing on a 1TB standard PS4 if that helps. I had never seen that message on any game I have owned. --- [This Signature Intentionally Left Blank] ... Copied to Clipboard!

No you can play a new copy of the same game on the old install.
But try running a different disc game for 15 minutes just to see if your laser has any issues. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
