RIP Kurama.

Naruto's going to be okay, though, but he won't have the fox's energy helping him out anymore.

and from the previous chapters, one of Sasuke's eyes was stabbed through by Boruto while he was possessed, and now he can no longer use his space/time abilities, so both him and Naruto have been gimped.

also, there is this dude called Data, and he was a failed vessel for the aliens, which sucks for him since he reveres them, but after the one alien died, he was able to send Data a message telling him to use Boruto to make the one world tree thing so he can eat it and become a similar being to him.

I haven't kept up with Boruto, but it's sounding more and more like Naruto GT than Naruto Super, which is disappointing.

on the one end this is super lame, but on the other most of boruto seems to have been dedicated to Naruto and Sasuke taking out increasingly more powerful foes, which kind of killed the whole point of having a sequel series centered around his kid.

So while I may not like it because I think boruto is kind of a lame series, I have to admit that this is probably better for the series going forward.

Honestly I kinda like the Boruto Manga. Its better then the clusterfuck that was the Shinobi World War thats for sure.

iirc, there was something in the original Naruto series about how since jinchuriki (?) are made of energy, they eventually come back after dying, but the move that was used was described as being similar to something nuclear, so idk

Juubi, aka the tailed beasts, come back into existence eventually after they die. To prevent them from running amok, and because there's no way to permanently destroy them, Juubi are sealed into people in order to both control the beast and to become a living weapon--those people are the jinchuriki.

I haven't seen this show, but from the original he was still pretty damn powerful with sage mode. IMO he shouldn't have gotten much stronger than that in the first place; the power scaling went way too far off the charts after the Pain arc. Sasuke too should have peaked with the MS.

They're by no means "weak" without Kurama and the Rinnegan, but they're definitely a tier lower now. I guess the main question is whether or not they're still able to use their Hagoromo chakra, because that was the really huge power boost they both got during the war.

This, Naruto isnt nearly as nerfed as people seem to think he is. Sage mode is still strong as fuck. Plus doesnt he still have Hashirama cells or some shit?

Poor Sasuke though...

Naruto at best right now can still access a bit of the chakra other tailed beasts gave him. He won't be able to fly or do his giant fox kaiju form anymore. Healing factor is probably gone too.

Really hard to say how tough he is now

The other big thing is his Kurama chakra was THE reason he could spam shadow clones. Kakashi can make like, what... 2? Now, unless he's in sage mode, Naruto's main moveset is theoretically completely unavailable to him.

He's always had a large chakra pool though even without the ninetails lending him power. He can still span shadow clones I imagine, just like a hundred to a thousand instead of ten thousand or something even more ridiculous.
