1) First. we have to get rid of the idea that the Germans were fighting a two front war. It wasn't a two front war until the USA invaded through Normandy. Before that, it was stare across the English Channel and hope for the British to surrender because the Germans had no way in capturing the British Isle and the British couldn't take back the continent by themselves. North Africa was a losing campaign regardless because the British controlled the seas which means no logistics, crappy supply lines, and little to no support...wait is this how Rommel lost again?

2) Not Attacking Russia first at that moment was against the blitzkrieg tactics that were working for the Germans, so why let the Russians sit there and prepare for invasion.

3) Russia had a terrible war reputation at the time. It was embarrassed in WW1, embarrassed by Poland, and then embarrassed by Finland after Stalin's purges. If the Germans were able to take down France and UK with such ease then why would anyone think Russia would've stood it's ground.

the entire war was a stupid decision for germany.
they didn't have the oil supply to fight a long drawn out war.
they beat up on neutral and under-prepared countries in the initial stages of the war and got dummied by the british during the battle for britain.
invading russia was less about destroying communism but more of reaching the oil rich caucasus region.

Russia has been conquered/defeated during the winter time and this implies WW2 lasted only only 1 year.

The Napoleon's invasion was completely different than the Germans.

Germany could not win a battle of attrition with the Allies and they knew it.

Japan didn't give a shit about Germany and they knew it

If anything, the Nazis should have attacked the Soviets right away before anything else. They might have gotten American support had they done that. The Winter War in Finland forced the Red Army to make a lot of changes. The fact would still stand that the USSR could muster up a massive army of conscripts, but hitting them before they could get their shit together would have been the smarter option. To quote Machiavelli "[The Romans] never, to avoid a war, allowed them to go unchecked, because they knew that there is no avoiding war; it can only be postponed to the advantage of others."
