Nkt going to say exactly what topics but the people in them know what topics I am talking about

But in 2 topics I desperately was trying to convey my thoughts and in both I apparently failed because people kept misunderstanding me and saying horrible things to me

Now I am beginning to wonder if I am losing my mind. Maybe what I thought I was typing I wasn't actually typing. Or something. I dont fucking know. All I know is I felt I was literally agreeing with the people yelling at me so I had no idea why they were mad. No matter how I tried to explain my thoughts, it always came out wrong

Last night was not good and I am considering taking a break from CE. I dont know what's going on with me

Maybe I need new medication or something

I dont know why I am saying all this just needed to vent I guess. I doubt anyone gives a fuck

Feelings complicated. Expressing them makes sense to those that can relate. Those that dont relate to the expressions find other things to focus on & use that to reply.

Id say keep searching your feelings & express them here. You post for you to get the support or the troll you need to view a topic in a different way. CE caters to the later most the time. Consider it extreme constructively replied.

Perhaps agreeing with the yelling got you to this point where a CE break is needed. Confrontation is needed for further understanding. Keep your mind open & your heart glad. Return when your ready.

1. On the pedo topic, I wasn't so much defending all relationships like that violetmasscre person or whatever their name was. Just his specificly. And it was 90% based on the fact they are married now and it's been 13 years. Maybe I missed it but I didn't notice him say when they started having sex. I'm assuming he waited till she was older

Normally I WOULD be against that kind of thing. And I would have been against it in his case too if I knew about it 13 years ago but he managed to make it work so I felt he shouldn't get attacked for having a 27 year old wife

2. The gay thing. I dont hate gay people. I like them. I've had many positive relationships with people considered of the lbgtq community. And I support their rights. I wasn't upset there are gay people in the game. Someone said all romance npcs can be made gay straight or bi on the whims of the player and it sounded odd to me. I am used to the bioware style where each romance npc is set as gay straight or bi and you can't change it and you just have to pick a matching gender if you want to romance that npc

I still think there was a breakdown in communication at some point. But I now tbink its my fault. I need to work on explaining myself better.

I explained that. Did you miss the later post? I didn't mean rape that is legal. I was saying legal rape as in rape considered rape by the legal system. There is a difference in the sense that one is violent assault. I understand both are evil. And illegal. They are both horrible things to do. I'm not excusing one over the other. Child grooming is fucked up. And yes they are both rape. The law views it as rape because a child can't legally consent. I know all this.

I just chiming in. I didn't see those topics and have no ill will to you.

Thing about rape though is, the damage is mainly mental.
Violent assault is not actually what causes rape to be a trauma that stays with a person. It could be a factor yes, but "non-violent rape" as someone might oddly call it is just as traumatic and possibly could be more so.

For ex: if you get violently raped on the street, you might fear walking in the street.

If you get "non-violently" raped at a friends house, you might now not only fear going to other friends house but fear every friend you make from now on.

Does this make sense?

So the subject of grooming, the person might develop trust issues with anyone who mentors them. That is, at a young age they had been taken advantage of by a mentor, so next time someone takes them under their wing, their mind says "are they just trying to exploit me for sex?"

It creates unhelthy mental patterns and trauma. That is just one possible scenario.

The relationships you make as a child are important to adult mental health.
