How tf do you say he was "hostile" when he was walking away from the police and repeatedly told them he was fine and was headed home?

"Sir, you need to clam down". Being hostile isn't just actions.

Even if he did yell at the officers to fuck off, they should have just fucked off. Theres no rule that you have to be pleasant to cops and youre allowed to be left alone if thats what you want.

Way too often cops use anger and other emotions to be the driving force in their judgement, and that cannot be allowed to happen without consequences in a healthy society.

The cops thought that they could do whatever they want and face no consequences, and it sucks that they are right. They could have shot this man dead as soon as they arrived and bootlickers would still be digging deep into their posterior for reasons to defend their actions against all decency and reason.

Because they are shitty ass lazy cops who, by their boss's own admission, didn't even confirm the identity of a man before arresting him. Stop trying to give the benefit of the doubt when they have admitted to wrongdoing, or at the least, negligence for the basic requirements of their job.

Sure the arrest was dropped as that's not what the cops were dispatched for. Doesn't change what I'm seeing in the video nor does it change the outcome or events but this topic is for discussion and I'm not one to jump on a bandwagon when I don't see it coming.

He's 18, works at Walmart and was on his way to his mums house. That's all I know. There is no guarantee having someone with you will stop things happening but if anything bad did happen the more eyes the better. Even more so if you feel you could be a possible victim more than others.

Exactly. But youre assuming he had someone. Theres a chance no one was able to meet him anywhere. And even if they could, they would have also had to walk to his place of work, which is dangerous because of the weather. And they could have been possibly stopped instead, which would have also been bad. You called it a simple solution like he 100% could have done this. Theres no reason to assume he could have done anything different... And more times than not, black people talking to cops ends up worst than what happened to him. Based on the way these cops acted, they probably would have arrested him either way...

I admit my solution was indeed a assumption yes based on he is 18 and was on his way to his mums home. I believe his mum and dad have actually been with him in the media too. I've also admitted it's possible he has nobody to walk home with and it sucks to be him. I don't resort to trying to insult other posters over a difference of opinion on a news story. I'm more level headed than that.

Literally sounds like Zeus with his constantly making excuses when cops mistreat black people. Completely ignoring the fact that stop and talk to cops is genuinely not an option for a lot of innocent people.

Just to be perfectly clear, there's no point in ever arguing with winter. I've never once seen him change his mind in any way; he just doubles down on whatever asinine remarks he started with in the most condescending way possible.
