you get iron after you beat the second boss and get the swamp key, and mine it from the sunken crypts

Got the longship and now my game constantly crashes when I get close to my marked bonemass area. because of the way saving works my character spawns at base fucking years away from my longship which is sitting in the middle of the ocean right past the crash zone with all my iron bronze and tools on it.

time to take a break -_- game felt very polished in the first quarter (deer boss and elder boss) but as soon as you hit this sailing wall things get jank apparently.

The more I play this game, the more I wish chests weren't just trash. Kinda wish they'd at least hold as many items as your inventory, maybe a little bit less, but I really don't like them.

is fine. the game would be beaten far too quickly otherwise. being forced to set up small outposts which grow into sort of processing stations was part of the fun for us. we set up roads and such through the forests/swamps which linked up with nodes and dungeons. part of why we're sitting at like 100 hours playtime with only the first two bosses down lol.

Inventory and item management really needs improvements. They should have separate worn item slots that aren't part of your carrying inventory and there need to be bags that increase your inventory size at the least. The amount of resources that you need to stockpile and blow through building large or expansive stuff is getting hella tedious as a solo player and spending hundreds of hours as a one man road crew to build a highway system to drag carts all over the place does not strike me as overly compelling gameplay.

The one mod I've seen so far that has really tempted me is one that makes it so that crafting stations can access chests within an area around them, that way you can do exactly that kind of dumping everything randomly in a giant chest room thing and still craft easily.

I saw this last night and think I'm going to try something like it, it's an elevated boar breeding setup so that the piglets drop down below and don't affect breeding rates of the main pair.
