Finished the four shrines and talked to the king.

I felt really stupid doing the ice shrine because I didnt realize I had to create an ice pillar under the gate. Spent like 15 minutes looking around and finally resorted to YouTube. Shame on me.

also I feel like Im making things unnecessarily hard on myself. To get to the stasis shrine I climbed up the mountain from the old mans house. I feel like there was a much easier way to get there lol

also I think its cool they finally have voice acting but Zeldas voice bugs the hell out of me.

anyway is there anything in the plateau I should check out before I glide down?

You'll get cold resistant clothing in hebra. The fire sword will help in the mild cold.

Two ways I can think of:
a) Cooking and eating food that gives you cold resistance.
b) Getting the warm doublet. Hint hint, read the Old Man's diary in his hut.

Ah damn it, I did read the diary earlier, just forgot about it.

I do like that I have infinite bombs. And how time slows down when switching between weapons and runes so I can see myself doing some fun wacky shit chaining different abilities later on

The world has minibosses just scattered around. That's one of them.

Threw like ten bombs at him and didnt seem to phase him so I got the fuck out of there.

just got the Hyrule Field tower and almost got wrecked by the guardians hanging out by it.

also found Lon Lon Ranch?

its pretty cool that I can see stuff from so damn far away

Yeah, that should be a Divine Beast you see.

And yup, it's super fun that you can always look around and see neat things to do off in the distance.

As far as if you're doing stuff the right/wrong way, if you're getting it done, then it's the right way.

Explore everything, and experiment with everything. Cooking, magnesis, and stasis have crazy things you can do with them!

You can parry their blasts with a shield if your timing is right.

Its insane how fucking huge Hyrule is in this game.

I remember being like 7 or 8 years old playing Ocarina of Time for the first time and thinking how huge that game was but I wouldnt be surprised if BOTWs Hyrule Field alone is bigger than all of OOT
