I also have vivid memories of the Star Wars Taco Bell toys that were (presumably) in celebration of the Special Editions considering they were OT themed. but I was the prime age to be roped into Star Wars, cause i was 6 when TPM came out. I saw the movie in theaters, played the shit out of Episode 1 Racer on N64, then just fell head first into consuming Star Wars content growing up <_< --- The name is wackyteen for a reason. Not exactly. I was born in 1981 and I could have grown up with it but for whatever reason I never actually saw the movies until the mid 90s. I've liked it ever since though. But yea, originals are my favorite

Kinda. Born 79 so they were always a thing as a kid. I remember my elder brother having the original trilogy on VHS, poorly recorded from a broadcast, we'd watch them all the time.

I watched the OT first, but I may have been a bit too young to really understand it. I still remember enjoying it though. I guess those characters are so good they're going to leave an impression even at such a young age. With the Prequels I started really paying attention though, since I was getting older.
So I would say I grew up with both of them. --- Ah, yes, the Negotiator: General Kenobi <sneaky beeping> ... Copied to Clipboard!

Voted third option. I'd seen all of the OT before the prequels, and I saw the prequels in theaters. I've always liked star wars, but it was never one of my favorites. I generally never bothered with the videogames, or any of the EU content, although I have played in star wars tabletop rpgs a few times, and I did like the clone wars cartoon with ahsoka.

I watched the OT on vhs as a kid. I remember always falling asleep during ESB after Luke got to Degobah lol.
Loved the franchise all the way until college. I enjoyed the prequels, but after RotS I just didnt feel the need to keep up with anything. almost got back into it with the sequels, but TFA ended up being a big wet fart and I told myself maybe episode 8 will use this setup and make this boring ass waste of two hours worth it in retrospect ... <_< --- ... Revenge of the Sith came out when I was 9 so... kind of? But honestly 90% of the star wars in my childhood was Battlefront II.

Grew up and loved the OT on home video Teenager during the PT and was hyped for each film. Adult for ST and had low expectations, but still was disappointed.
