Yeah. I'm trying to look at the bright side. Maybe if the swelling is fixed, it'll make my digestion much better and maybe the fix isn't that difficult. I just really don't know what it is.

It's totally painless and it swells up in my upper abdominal area just slightly off center to the right side of my body. It swell up big and hard for like 5 seconds, then shrinks back down. Even pushing on it when it's hard and swollen doesn't hurt. It's shape doesn't match with my ab muscles so I don't think it's a muscle spasm. It's shape is like a narrow egg.

The doctors seemed pretty convinced it's not a hernia from feeling the area and listening with a stethoscope.

Before the surgery it was happening like every 5 minutes or so and often times when it'd get smaller I'd hear a spurting sound from the same area and it'd feel kind of hot in the area.

So like, it FEELS like a blockage in something where it swells up when something tries to come through the area, then eventually the pressure is enough and it makes it past the blockage where it shrinks back down.

My hope and what the surgeon said may be the case was that it was my gallbladder being blocked by one of the stones. I guess it could be the common bile duct instead which is my hope. That'd be easy to fix with an endoscopic procedure and not require surgery most likely.

It could also be a partial intestinal obstruction but I'm not really sure from what. Maybe a gallstone that got in there or something.

Perhaps some sort of malfunction of a sphincter in there that doesn't open in time but I feel like the hard area is too hard for that to make sense. The hard area is also too small to be my entire pancreas but maybe some part of it or something.

Couldn't find anybody on google with a similar issue. I also feel my heartbeat really powerfully from that area sometimes, as if the artery is being pressed on.

Hopefully monday I'll feel good enough to go in and get an ultrasound or abdominal CT or something. Just like with the surgery, it's possible I'll be much better if they figure out what it is and fix it.

In actually good news though my weight has gone up a bit. Lowest was 115.2 after the surgery and at my lowest point today it was 116.8. Not huge but it's been going up a bit each day.
