lemondrop7 03/07/21 11:22:09 AM #6:	i agree. the gnostic bible is the only one that even tries to make sense of the whole old testament + jesus incompatibility thing (and actually does a great job at it). it's actually ass backwards to me that the idea of sophia, the demiurge, etc are just waved away by the church when it explains why the old testament god required human sacrifice, gave rules for slavery, eye for an eye punishment, and promised earthly rewards like new kids and livestock to followers while jesus demands the exact opposite telling us this earth is a curse/dead and not to want ANY earthly possessions lest they consume you --- This signature is used so that my one line posts aren't swept into the wedge of you wall of text wankers <cite>lemondrop7 posted [p:951442194] in The Gospel...
