He was talking about immigrant children and he said Theyre children today but they could be terrorists tomorrow

We saw a fuckton of terrorists just a couple months ago attack our government violently and something tells me none of them immigrated here as children from south of the border

is there even a single example of a kid immigrating to the US from a Latin American country and growing up to commit acts of terror in our country? Seems like theyve had plenty of time I mean when I was a kid growing up in Georgia in the 90s you couldnt walk down the street without hearing at least one racist joke about mexicans

The logic doesnt even make any sense. They really think some kid has a plan in their head to move to a country which itself is a very difficult thing. I mean just imagine if you had to move to another part of the US even, its a huge pain in the ass but you wouldnt have to worry about law enforcement and all sorts of dangers the way that a lot of immigrants do who are fleeing dangers that are even worse.

But back to my point they think these kids plan on moving here, getting an education, and just spend years establishing themselves and getting themselves into a situation where they can just attack the country where theyve finally found some safety and a life worth living.

Have these people ever met fucking immigrants? Theyre often some of the most patriotically American people you will ever meet and they tend to be outspoken in how much they love this country, at least in my experience.

I see a ton of people complain and drum up fear about China nowadays, and China certainly has a lot of issues and their government seems pretty fucked up in a ton of ways so a lot of it is warranted.

But imagine deciding that you are gonna sneak into China with your kid and totally build a life there for many years and then you decide the time is ripe and you have your kid just commit some awful act and then theyre dead or fucked and your family is fucked and you didnt even really accomplish anything because now those people would just be emboldened against you.

It makes no sense at all it is so stupid how did half of this country get past gradeschool

Their entire platform is making up crazy what if scenarios to sanitize what their real views are. Like the Dr. Suess thing, they can't admit that they're cool with racism, so it's always some kind of unspecific slippery slope where if we don't stop "cancelling" the bad things they'll eventually come for things that are good, but they can't really explain what that will be

1) It feels like you're conflating statements. The ones he's criticizing as potential terrorists are unlikely the South American child immigrants, but instead immigrants originating from other countries.

2) The Tsarnaev Brothers entered the country as children -- the younger of whom was 9 at the the time. If you don't remember their names for whatever reason, you might remember the Boston Bombing. The claim that "oh, this never happens!" is kinda undermined by the fact that one of the biggest terror attacks is tied to it. Then Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez entered the US at age 6. I'll forgive you for not knowing his name, because I had to google it myself since I mostly remember him for the Chattanooga shootings where he murdered 5 Americans at a military base in Tennessee. Then there's Ahmad Khan Rahimi, who was 7 when he immigrated to the US. Don't remember him? Maybe you remember when they found all of those bombs in NY and NJ in 2016. I'm sure the 31 people who were injured by the bombs that went off remember him, and we can thank law enforcement for finding those other bombs before they went off. And all of this was WITH presumably a lot of screening (which is likely why Obama came up with his ban regarding some Muslim-majority nations, which Trump later implemented -- and added one more country to it -- and caught flack for it). So the claim, "Well, this would never happen!", is bullshit.

3) You bring up the Capitol Riot, but literally a week or so earlier you yourself had suggested that the American people today could "learn something from the French Revolution", which was basically asking for something far more violent than the capitol incident only the rioters were killed.

Do you honestly believe that anybody thinks, "Oh, I'm going to become a terrorist someday"? That's not something that comes up on career day. Some of them were even in college before they decided to permanently end other Americans' dreams by murdering them in cold blood, often without even knowing their victims.

The difference being that the French Revolution was primarily a movement of dredging western society out of the remnants of the dark ages and carving the way for human rights and civil liberties that we are still struggling to maintain even today due to people like you
