For example, the episode where he sees a commercial for something he was trying to make but was capable of a lot more than his shoddy prototype was, he gets mad and throws it at the TV and breaks the TV in the process. The dragon he made for the Medieval Fair in one episode caused destruction because even he couldn't figure out how to drive it, and the his big mechanical Hanukkah menorah was a complete failure when he brought it in front of the audience in the play he made it for. Didi herself mentions in at least one episode that they were having trouble paying their bills.
