I was really hoping for a lot of unintentional comedy and I got some, but not nearly as much. Especially with this egregious length.

The horrible plot is more coherent than the original cut, but it's pretty much worse in almost every single way and that's saying something.

Regardless of how one sees the SC, saying it was worse than Justice League is deliberate trolling.

How is it not? It's twice as long, has the worst pacing of any movie I've ever seen and the last half hour is a dream sequence cliff hanger that is totally disconnected from the rest of the movie.

There's only 3 positives points to make when comparing it to the original cut.

1. Cyborg's better because he actually has a backstory and we know more about him than nothing at all. (course it's way too much backstory and everything we learn about him is bland and boring)
2. The goals are clearer and the overall plot, bad as it is, is more coherent.
3. The tone is pretty much the same throughout the whole movie.

Other than that? Horrendous.

Then you havent paid attention to a lot of movies pacing.

And the dream sequence isnt a cliffhanger. The first one in BVS ended the same way. Its very obvious these sequences are meant to be vignettes of possible futures, not an actual tangential storyline.

Justice League is one of the worst movies ever released. Literally anything is better.

As said, you can feel the SC is still shit if thats how you want to feel, but comparing it to JL and saying its worse is just trolling.

Its a good way to put the Knightmare on screen without committing the actual continuity to it.

If we saw the entire storyline there played out, its likely theyd converge as the regular continuity catches up with where the Knightmare continuity would start. And itd likely be prevented by Batman taking the proverbial bullet.
