It's a third-person beat em up dungeon crawler with Drizzt, Bruenor, Cattie-Brie, and Wulfgar.

The newest Drizzt trilogy just finished a few months ago so next book is some time off.

There's a few more videos that elaborate more on the gameplay. Sounds like the magic will be in the form of 6 different power ups, with two slots to use them as you please. Doesn't seem like D&D without a d20 involved somewhere though. /s

I loved the original Dark Alliance, but this doesnt really look anything like it imo, more of an action game. Looks decent, but not really my cup of tea usually

Might get it if they ever add local co op. Looks like that'll be a hard thing to do tbh but they did say that it would have it initially. Wonder if they'll be able to actually add it.

At least it's launching at $40, always a plus with games made by smaller teams that may or may not have a few issues, while still being a fun experience

Waiting for the PS4/5 (yay cross buy) version to go up for pre-order since I'm a console peasant, but definitely looking forward to it, even if it ends up being a bit average

Yeah, the co-op with friends is definitely gonna be the biggest draw to it, especially since the end game will supposedly just be getting better and better loot...which is to be expected from this type of game heh
