I just today had a meeting with my bank to discuss a loan and mortgage rates. I didn't like their numbers so now I have 45 days to shop around to other banks for a lower interest so my credit score doesn't get fucked.

Wow mine wasn't that complicated. You are allow to shop around. Don't let 1 bank bully you. They do that to keep you as a customer.
