Ashleycaptioned the photo with, Why does everybody look the same nowadays? Lets be unique And true to ourselves. This is me using a filter lookin like a blowfish tryna fit in w all the LA girls now. However, the post caused a discussion about beauty standards and how women are viewed. One commenter wrote, Girl no offense but youre beautiful naturally and I think people try to emulate looking like you. While being individual is wonderful, why shame someone for finding ways to feel confident in themselves, regardless of what changes they want to make to themselves through plastic surgery. My problem with it is when already hot women in their 20's start doing this stuff and completely ruin their look because they are going for a look they think society is looking for when it is not. Another stipulation is that it can be dangerous / risky, but sadly in America plastic surgery is probably the fastest growing medical practice. So, at least they things will start to be safer and produce more realistic results.
