Who's getting in?










Each day I'll select 10 random characters from the Nintendo wiki (using https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Special:Random ), and whichever gets the most votes gets a slot on B8's Smash Bros. roster
  • Special exception: If the random page lands me on an obscure game that doesn't have a page for its characters, I'll just take the main character from that (or the closest thing I can find to a main character).
  • Special exception #2: Sometimes RNG wants something that's not a character to be in the poll, and if that happens, so be it.
  • Special condition #3: In the case of a tie, both characters will get in but the 2nd character will be an echo of the first.

Yesterday had joke option Spongebob fall just short of winning for the 2nd time, defeated by a current B8 favorite

Today on deck, the Hovering Cargo Vehicle somehow came up again on the randomizer, but it's already in! Instead we've got TWO generic soccer players alongside a baseball player, a Xenoblader, a Fire Emblemer that looks oddly familiar but I don't know why, a Pokemon, a creepy-looking recurring enemy that looks like it belongs in Metroid but doesn't actually, a Zelda NPC, the main protagonist of a 3rd party run-and-gun, and a headless body.

Drednaw is one of the best new Pokemon but sadly I don't think that it's suited for a Smash moveset =(
