I don't think drink-flying-half-way-across-the-world-during-a-fucking-pandemic fuck-the-word-length-limit -when-I-live-in-somewhere-with-basically-zero-covid is a good idea. Olive Garden doesn't exist here because they're fucking cheapskates who can't be bothered opening outside the US and even if they did they'd probably only have like two restaurants in Auckland like Taco Bell and Carl's Jr (actually I think Carl's Jr have a bit more than that now) and there sure as fuck wouldn't be one up here. Like literally the only big chain fast food places I can get to within a 30 min drive - and all of them are at the upper end of that - are McD's, KFC and Subway. An hour 30 mins, I can add Pita Pit and Domino's to the list. 3 hours to a Burger King, and about 5 to a Taco Bell, Carl's Jr or Wendy's.

EDIT: Also drinking so can't drive regardless.

It's like 5 hours away. But pretty much - if a chain exists in NZ, there's at least one branch in Auckland.

And yeah it's NZ's biggest city. Only Wellington and Christchurch even come close, other cities are tiny and the US / etc would probably consider them glorified towns or suburbs rather than cities. The nearest "city" to me you can literally fucking drive from one side of to the other in under 5 minutes... and that's if you're following the speed limit.

They can, they choose not to. That's a them problem. Nothing's stopping them from leaving their religion, or just breaking the rules and asking Israel God (actually I think that's just regular God?) to forgive them later.
