I've never understood nor saw the appeal myself. It's apparently to get ready for bed which you know, we can do ourselves.
Some hotels leave a piece of chocolate on the bed which I find funny because it seems counterintuitive to be eating sweet and sugary before bed. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I like it. It's nice to come back to a tidy room. Especially if i paid a lot of money to be there.

Yeah. The only time I don't turn down service is when I'm on an extended stay for 3+ nights.
Most of my hotel stays have been for travel for school or work and 90% of those rooms had two beds even though I was the only one staying in the room. So there was no need for daily service. Edit: Oh I didn't know it was called "turndown service" hehe whoops. No I tell them to scram --- Roll Tide & Go Irish ... Copied to Clipboard!
