OP isn't wishing death on anybody. Think of it as a science experiment. If Floyd didn't die because of what the cop did to him, then he should be able to survive the same thing happening to him, no?

Its a facet of society ive never understood.

i dont want anyone to die from this, i just think making an argument like that is bullcrap if you're unwilling to submit to the same experience. just reminds me of that time hannity bitched about waterboarding not being torture then refused to actually try it.

Totally against death penalty and killing of anyone. However I actually agree if the defense itself is arguing a healthy person would have been fine under the pressure of knees on your throat for 8 minutes, then I think its absolutely fair to give chauvin the chance to withstand the same amount of force Floyd did to the neck, if hes fine let him walk free and continue as a cop. If thats not okay with the defense then I think they need to drop that argument

Wtf man. how do you even jump to that logic. I'm saying don't fucking do something that could potentially kill someone. And don't try and justify it by trying to say it's in the name of justice or proving a bad defense. Killing people is bad and so is trying to joke about it.

judges are in no way forced to accept a defense argument as valid when they run a court case. if so every murderer that shot or knifed someone would argue that the bullet or knife wound didn't kill the victim, the exsanguination did.
