D. People know what to expect from an Adam Sandler movie, he's not really conning anyone, dude just like taking trips with his bros and turning it into a film

He's neither.

He's alright in some stuff, and awful in some other stuff. Like, 50/50 tbh.

His movies typically arent my thing but I dont think hes a hack just because I dont normally prefer that kind of humor.

His humor was top notch for 90s and mid 2000s audience but ain't no one finding his stuff funny these days.

He's kind of like Jim Carrey in that if he's in the right kind of movie, his comedy works. But those kinds of movies are relatively hard to find, and many of their classics are honestly pretty overrated.

Jim Carrey is more talented as an actor, though.

I've heard his portrayal of Dr Robotnik was actually pretty great.

So long as studios are willing to give Sandler and his buddies a free vacation, under the guise of making another terrible movie, why not?

C...but boy is he great in Punch Drunk Love and Uncut Gems. He's both a hack/con-man and capable of being a good actor. One does not wash out the other.

But he seems really nice, and he's talented, and every now and then he cares enough about a film to knock his role out of the park.

Adam Sandler has his own production company. He doesn't need to rely on anyone else to keep letting him make movies.

D. At least Adam Sandler can write a heart warming ending and he comes off as a decent guy in a lot of films like 50 first dates and mr deeds. Its not difficult to end a movie but somehow most comedies completely fail at this

He's made more classics than the vast majority of actors or comedians or comedic actors. And he's also made a lot of trash.
