When I went to specialist for a stomach issue the person who saw me there was this 75 year old lady who was an NP. They aren't trained near as long and don't have the same knowledge. And honestly, when I worked in insurance I always kind of saw them as a scam to milk more dollars from customers but I've changed my view a little bit on them.
