The stunts were cool, but that's about it.
The story wasn't very good. The characters were meh. Especially Max, until the last 17 minutes. And, holy shit, that climax was crazy rushed. The whole movie felt like a cold opening. I'm sure the sequels are better though. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah it's different from the others. The chase with the Night Rider is still awesome. It's cool to see civilized society in the MM world basically at it's end before the absolute post apocalyptic craziness of the other movies.

Mad Max wasnt even supposed to be a pre-apocalyptic story, they just has to have a reason for why they couldnt afford to hire extras or shoot at proper locations.
