Does this sound like it was all about Race to you?

oops, i said alabama when it should be Georgia. messed up from a previous story :)

Georgia Fire Whacko, Jason Rickles was arrested after he pulled a GUN on a female black realtor and her photographer who were there for a pre-arranged photo shoot before showing buyers of his 925,000 house in Georgia as his WIFE arranged for the viewing with the company and left the home!!

The Fire Chief was selling his 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom house in Roswell, just outside of Atlanta and his wife contacted the company for their services.

Regina Lee, formerly of PalmerHouse Properties and photographer, Dwayne Brodie said they arranged a viewing with First Multiple Listing Service to take photographs for her portfolio.

She arrived in a black pant suit and high sheels with Brodie and around 6 others including a make up artist

But when Rickel's wife, Melody spotted multiple people in their house on CCTV carrying equipment in bags and she rang the realtor to ask them to leave.

When they were still packing up 10 minutes later, Melody rang her husband to report them BURGLARIZING their home.

Rickels arrived as they were leaving and pulled a 9mmm Ruger gun on them even though they had company logo on their clothing. Rickles then smashed Brodie's camera to the ground and that's when he started recording the encounter.

Rickel's was then saying he thought his camera was a GUN and was "defending" hmself.

Regina told CBS "It was scary and i was praying like, please lord don't let him shot any of us. i fee he ddint' see anything but the colour of our skin because even the photographers had their logs of their companies on them. After i received the call, this was scheduled by the owner but if they didn't want us there then we'll leave immediately. It was a confirmed appointment, it was definitely confirmed"

Brodie then shows a shot of his smashed camera and Rickels next to his car and he can be heard yelling "You see this f***ing bulls*** i gotta deal with? C*****mother f******. i'm on the job"

Rickles then says "Why you gotta be racial about it?"

Brodie says "Becasue you pulled a f***ing gun on me"

Rickles then says "I thought you pulled a gun on me" and Brodie says back "You pulled a gun on me, jumped in my f***ing car and broke my f***ing camera"

Rickles then says "All i know is i walked up and you pulled something on me. I was in fear of my life, sir, it's my house"

Brodie yells "I'm not even near your house. I'm on the f***ing street. I'm not even in your front of your house".

Rickles says again "Why you gotta make it racial? Why is it always about race"

Brodies yells "Suck my d*** mother f*****. f*** you. f*** you"

Newly elected mayor, Wayman Newton who is the first black mayor said they are aware of this situation and is taking it very seriously but will retrain from commenting until an investigation is

Brian Steel who is representing Rickles says this is a baseless carge and they are goign to fight it as Rickles is now charged with aggravated asssault, criminal damage and possession of a firearm.

Yeah she definitely is. He's a moron for mistaking a camera for a gun though.

So the wife set up the appointment without telling the husband THEN told the husband they were robbing the place? Sounds like they should be arresting the wife, not the husband... Whole thing seems like she was instigating everything to frame him.

Race doesn't have anything to do with it. He was told that they were being robbed.

Come up with another motivation for her.

Come up with another motivation for her.

The question suggests it's about him, particularly since he's the one being accused. As for her, it's silly that you're asking to prove a negative especially when there's almost nothing known about the person. The most likely motivation was already said, though -- she was trying to get her husband in trouble for some unknown reason. There's no other motivation that makes sense within the context. You wouldn't set something up then tell somebody that they're being robbed and to go stop it unless you intended to get them in trouble. That or she suddenly developed amnesia, although even then if she believed they were trying to rob her, she would have called the cops. Thus the only real motivation must be to get the husband in trouble.

The bigger question is why everything is about race with you, considering you think it's impossible for blacks and whites to have disagreements without the white person being racist, a viewpoint that itself has some very troubling racist implications.

It is stranger that you suspect the wife to have set this up as some sort of hit job on the husband, that doesn't even really make sense. It's a pretty convoluted plan that doesn't make sense. Seems more likely to me she set up the appointment, realtors are really big on explaining everything so she had to know what was going on all but what color the people showing up would be. A whole lot more simple series of events.

If a realtor was suppose to come photograph my house, and 8 people showed up, I would be concerned as well.

No realtor is going to say the skin color of people showing up. They'll just say "I have some people coming by to photograph". Or something Similar to that.
