It took me straight up half an hour to cook a standard breakfast (omelette w/ cheese[ham,mushroom,bell pepper], 2 strips of bacon, hashbrowns, and toast) using only two pans. That's a long time to wait for a meal. Still mad delicious, though.

I have more pans than that, but my stove doesn't support using more than 2 elements at once very easily. Space constraints and all.

maybe Im just used to cooking a lot. Probably less than a minute to cut all that up. Throw it in pan, throw in eggs halfway or so. Other pan cook the carbs

less than a minute to peel and cut up a potato into hashbrown sizes + cut up mushrooms + cut up pepper... I mean, you might also be fast at cooking but I'm pretty sure you're also just poor at time estimation <_<

In a restaurant, cooking the food is the easy part. The difficulty lies with management who always tries to get by with the bare minimum, servers with their own agenda, and customers who have watched to many episodes of Top Chef and Chopped.

Cook the bacon in the oven, turn your omelet into a scramble, and microwave the potato for 2 minutes to par cook it before shredding it and frying it.

The real fancy dive diners will use both shredded and cubed hashbrowns. I hate the shredded ones, but they're the easiest to cook.

The diner i go to doesnt use pans, they have a huge griddle its bug enough to cook multiple items at the same time, tastes 10 minutes or less to get your food and it tastes great
