Hiding baskets, decorating eggs, getting candy/money/etc. It's a Christianity thing, and old people tend more to be the ones who talk about the relationship between the holiday and Jesus, but I've always seen the commercial/easter bunny aspect of it as a kids' thing. --- I write Naruto Fanfiction. Somehow that ended up evolving into ancient Greek/Roman mythos (Aphrodite/Eros and Venus/Cupid) and eventually made its way into Catholicism and the rest of Christianity as the origin of Jesus and virgin birth of Mary. That's where the name Easter originates, from Eoestre, but the deity goes by different names as you go through different times and cultures. Nowadays it's mostly just a money grabbing scheme, same with the rest of the festivities people celebrate year round.
