I am afraid to touch Disney because I really truly think the next MCU arc is going to bomb and Star Wars is on life support.

The Mandalorian was awesome though. That's enough to convince me Disney can keep Star Wars a viable IP

Disney has a near-monopoly on valuable IP and nostalgia (Nintendo takes a few crumbs for itself). Their long-term prospects will always be strong as long as people continue to blow more of their money on entertainment. Plus, the theme parks will almost certainly go back to printing money soon.

I finally found platforms that allow crypto purchases into more than just BTC and ETH for Canadians. Not like,TONS of them, but a lot of the bigger names I see around

So what exactly kind of research do you crypto fiends do to decide if a coin is worthwhile? Is it the tech behind it? The overall "purpose" the people who made it push for it being different from other coins? Platforms that accept it as payment?

I think Tether is a stablecoin that is *supposed* to be equivalent to $1 USD. That might make it functional as an actually useful exchange currency, but makes it pretty useless as an investment. USD Coin looks the same and QCAD is for tying to my fake canadian money.

What's the deal with Bitcoin Cash? Is it related to normal Bitcoin in some way or is it someone just trying to use the name for credibility?

An interesting side note to this: Tron, (the coin that I shilled hard 5 years ago that crashed from its peak right after) just announced that the majority of Tether is on their blockchain now, surpassing Etherium.

I dont know if it means anything, and Doge being literally 3 times its price now means all backing or real world use for Crypto is pointless, but yeah.

Yesterday, I lost the gains I made the week prior.

I'm currently close to losing all my April gains even with some of my selloffs. I may also go into portfolio-wide losses overall.

Out of 61k I have in various accounts, I have 11k in my brokerage account with $2,800 in cash in that. Not sure if I should make major investments now. Very risky. Maybe not so bad if I put it in SPY or VOO or something.

I was feeling intense FOMO about the ADA burst last week but I've completely reloaded at the 1.13-1.19 entry point. Feels good coz I believe in the project and I know we'll get back to 1.50 and above eventually.

Uh, no it didn't?

It did top 42 cents earlier, but it's been in a (slow) decline since then and the lowest dip (so far) has still been just above 30 cents.

Netflix got murked!

IEA announces their biggest contract yet and is...down for the day. What a strange market! It's days like today I search for the next pump and dump OTC stonk. RGBP finally revealed itself for the worthless garbage it is - CEO diluting like crazy, gotta love it - so I'm scouring the interwebs for the next garbage to double or triple my money on. Glad I took my 14k and ran on that one. I also lost a little on the preferred shares, but I flipped it enough times that closing out today didn't hurt me too much.

@Metal_DK Got any good picks for the next pump and dump? I've no idea how you find these stocks actually. I like to get in these things when they start getting hot, but not too hot and the Google Trends chart looks promising. Right when people start talking about them - how do you find these in the double or triple zeros? For the ones I've had real success on, I always get in on Friday after big news and it's Monday where the gains are wild. But getting in before the big news would be something else, just doesn't seem feasible using my methodology.

One thing I've noticed, a double on the stocktwits viewers with tons of people clearly pumping is like always a guaranteed 100% runner. The Atlas discord has made me some good money here too for 1-2 day holds. Are you one of those people that just throws a couple hundred in all the pennies that are showing up on day traders screeners?

Right now, nothing fits my criteria and I've spent the last 4 hours now searching for the next great hype stock. What I'm looking for is:

• Has legitimately good news that "sounds" promising (but will probably result in nothing long term because you know, it's OTC and these stocks are worthless by and large)
• Has people on stocktwits touting it as the next ENZC or AABB, so tons of morons buy hoping for a ten bagger while I get out
• Has a 100% dotted line on the Google Trend chart. The real key to my success here, and everything I'm looking at is downtrending

Maybe I should just buy doge, but I think I missed my opportunity to social arb the hype on that one. Still wouldn't surprise me if it hits close to a dollar at some point in the future. But who knows when.

I dont claim to understand anything about crypto but I reckon part of DOGEs recent rise was 4/20 and Elon. Not sure how much it can sustain before Musk pumps it again.

I don't exactly follow but if it's a justified verdict (i.e forever in prison) then there won't be riots and there won't be unrest

But then again last year the market was a blind bull and even when America was burning the stock market broke records, so it probably won't affect it at all

There will likely be riots even if he is guilty. Similar to sports teams cities celebrating when their teams win (see LA Lakers).

This kinda is just lasting longer due to people still staying at home. I dont think people realize how much this will change back when everything starts opening back up. Sounds like you have some long terms in OTC? My only one is AMYZF but I'm holding bags, and that's a legit company that should be headed for the NASDAQ soon. Hype OTC stocks I'll get out of asap nowadays since I've seen what holding bags can do (FPVD fucked me over hard, still holding but don't expect the money back ever). Guess I need to stay alert at all times and find the next PR that can give something the momentum RGBP had. I'm still pretty damn disappointed in myself for only selling half of that at .075 and not the whole thing.

The chance of finding the next ENZC or TNSP is next to none. But finding the next P&D in the OTC market is easier than it seems, I think. Just gotta find the next stock people are hyping up as the next ENZC and TNSP. I'll be scouring for the next big winner for sure on Friday

After much research I think GVSI is my next dumb hype trade stonk. Doesn't meet the trending criteria yet, but meets everything else I look for. Hoping it pulls back at a penny tomorrow after the inevitable gap up, since I didn't get in today.

Friday trend charts will let me know how excited to be for the move next week. Hope it gets some pumpers.

I closed my puts on DIS and F yesterday for a $1600 loss. I then put a quarter million into homie stock EVRI at $13.54. I meant to sell it this AM then buy back if there was a dip, but I messed up my stop order (I think this is the fifth time for those keeping score) and ended up losing $600 instead of gaining $3000. I was so mad that I bought back into EVRI at $13.69. Thankfully its nearly at $14 so I should make a net gain of around $1,500 if I sell right now.

WSB with a solid rec in MVIS, up big this morning. Anyone else get in today?

Yeah you're prolly right. I made a little bit on it today day trading and am holding small bags I got at .8 around close. Hopefully it gaps up again and I sell the early run tomorrow. Still, the George Sharp custodianship is interesting for a long play. But man penny stock long plays are so ill advised. I'll likely sell tomorrow and wait to see what the hype is looking like going into the weekend.

IEA warrants finally moving though! And I still want to get in CREX. Guess I should call TD and have them place a trade, but idk how that works since I really wanted to accumulate slowly.

Blur's self destruction of his confidence is pretty interesting. He was seeing so much success that I started throwing a hundred bucks at stuff he was super confident in because it seemed like he had a process that was working that led him to say he really liked a particular stock. But now it's "i have no idea what makes a successful stock or even how to begin figuring it out"

Not to guilt you about me investing in your pitches btw, no hard feelings there. I went in every single one of them assuming they would die miserable deaths in the off chance you do have the touch
