To be fair, I can't give my opinion on certain issues because on those certain issues, I am supporting criminal behavior. But that's not something I flex about. I usually laugh when I get moderated for things which aren't in support of criminal behavior.

The funny story is that I only put my pronouns in my sig like a few months ago, and it was in response to a known bad faith operator who made a topic calling attention to the fact that they put pronouns in their sig. I felt it was as good an opportunity as any even if I suspected they weren't exactly genuine about it.

Like I have it on my Twitter and my work e-mails so why not.

And apparently it really invites those who want to out themselves as people who get their feathers in a twist over pronouns.

my explanation is that someone who has that flag as a stick is "bet they are conservative".

not that they are the only two things ever, just that was the simplest thing to compare it to.

you could use "im not racist but" for conservatives. or the use of "transphobic" for a lib.
