An unfortunate for a Liberal MP in Canada who was caught COMPLETELY NAKED in a virtual house of commons meeting as his only saving grace was having his phone over his PENIS that blocked it out in that split second he was shown on view from his colleagues!!

46 y/o William Amos from Quebec has been an MP since 2015 after defeating the NDP as a screenshot was shown to the Canadian Press standing behind a desk between the Quebec and Canadian flags as his private parts were hidden with his mobile phone in one hand.

He released a statement saying "This was an unfortunate error. My video accidentally turned on as i was changing into my work clothes after going for a jog. I sincerely apologize to my colleagues in the house of commons for this unintentional distraction. Obviously it was an honest mistake and it won't happen again"

Bloc Quebecois MP Claude DeBellefeulle raised the incident in a point of order after question period reminding MP's about decorum who said a tie and jacket are obligatory but so are shirts, boxer shorts or pants and said "We have seen that the member is in great physical shape, but i think members should be reminded to be careful and control camera well"

He was visible only to MPs and staffers in an internal video conference not to the public.

The Liberals say they were satisiied with the explanation and will not investigate but is warning everybody to assume the camera is always on and be careful as you wonder near it.

I guess it depends on how you define a scandal? Being caught nude is something of a scandal by default, although it fails to meet other criteria (unless it was deliberate)

Of course it's not a scandal. This is the equivalent of peeking into the window of someone's home and being angry that you caught them changing. People are allowed to have private lives, they're also allowed to make mistakes.

Except it's literally nothing like that, because that involves voluntary action on the observers' behalf which also violates social norms and decency. He initiated this exposure to a group. He turned his camera on somehow while a meeting was underway. If you're so big into analogies around the home -- despite the fact he apparently didn't do this around his home -- it would be like walking out to the mailbox naked because you forgot to at least put on boxers and passing by a group of neighbors.

While I imagine the event was mistake, the other people in the meeting did nothing wrong, HE did something wrong. Don't put his malfeasance on them.

None of the goofy Zoom situations over the past year and a bit have really become 'scandals'. Everyone has been pretty forgiving overall, because most people are tech illiterate.

I run 5 days a week and get completely naked every single time before running. My running shorts actually have a built in liner that supports my testicles and makes underwear unnecessary and would actually cause far more chafing if I did wear them.

So the answer is, probably most serious joggers get naked while putting on their gear.
