its like they tried to do everything but failed at it
the survival aspects are shallow as hell barely anything to scavenge for loot is unexicting the shooting is boring the enemy behaviors are boring theres the dog monsters and zombies that rush at you theres the humans that somehow spot you for light years away and hit you even though you'r ehiding behind cover and then theres those annoying lake bug that take pot shots at you then dive right away before you can stop rowing your boat the stealth sucks cuz enemies spot you from 10 years away why do people like this game ... The high spots are REALLY high. Mostly the linear parts

i tried refunding it before i even finished the prologue. movement is horrible, it's like you're playing as a cube that slides around, not even a human. jumping feels bad, you snag and get stuck on things, even moving up and down stairs was clunky and jarring. i ended up finishing it, but they really really needed to give the gameplay a lot more polish

i agree. first game was bomb. second game was good enough. but third game was just a dud.

There's a sweet spot between 2033 and Last Light that would make for a really good game. They expanded the world with the sequel, but also took a way a good deal of the mystery and suspense.
