Sansa is the second child of Eddard and Catelyn Stark. At a young age, her naivety frequently led her at her loved ones into danger and even death, but later redeems herself.

I'll refrain from voting because I only watched the first season and a half, and based on those it would be one of the hardest "no"s I've ever given, but I understand that her character went places in the later seasons.

Sophie Turner never did a great job with her though and she became worse and worse in the show.

I loved her in the book. I'm still only partway through the first season of the show and she doesn't work as well there.

Absolutely not, as much as the show tried to make me like her in the later seasons I hated where her arc ultimately led her. Pretty neutral to her in the books too.

Agreed. At some point the show just decided Sansa was Smart and Cool now, and so everybody talks about how smart she is despite her not really doing anything that great, and people like LF have to become total idiots to give her a win.

I think either the showrunners had no clue what makes Sansa interesting in the books, or they were just incapable of writing a nuanced internal passive character so turned her into a one-dimensional amoral bland quippy mess. I really don't get how people love her later seasons transformation, nothing about it rang true to me. And she is a straight up bad person in the last season!

Yes, and honestly the Littlefinger thing made total sense. Dude got so high on his own ability to manipulate (and his own belief that people are all as terrible as him) that he superficially read Arya and got it so wrong it killed him.

Also the one person he couldn't reasonably have any info on and had to wing his guess on what made her tick

This is spot on.

And no, it did not make sense. LF had no real motives near the end other than being a great manipulator, probably all the writers understood about him. Dropped the ball with him the moment they made him send Sansa to Ramsay, which makes no sense whatsoever, because it's a cover up from the fact that they did not care to introduce Jeyne Poole in the show.
