There's a reason why the Zestiria anime retcons a bunch of stuff from the game, so much so that fans consider it to be the true version of the story. My hot take is that Abyss is not good. It's unfortunately the only Tales game I could not finish due to how much I disliked it. However gameplay beats berseria as in the characters more fun IF you unlock everything of the equipment system.
