Fashion are all about cycles. Keep the same style and/or haircut for long enough and chances are it will be lame, acceptable, and fashionable at different points in time.

I remember in 2008 when Persona 4 released some people bashed the main character's quasi-bowl haircut. When Persona 4 was released on PC last year I don't recall anyone talking about the main character's haircut AND the main character has achieved the status of being a "chad" character.

I can't help but cringe whenever someone mispronounces hime cut as "haim cut".

It seems like the kind of haircut that would be a problem if you ever move at all or if there is even the tiniest breeze.

Some of these pictures look fine, but all the ones in the opening post are absolutely hideous. The bangs certainly help, but I still hate the thick tufts of blunt cut hair on the sides. If they used a smaller section, it'd probably look fine.

Bad thing about some Japanese girls is that they obviously don't have the hair follicles to pull off a thicc and attractive bangs, but they'll do it anyways. It looks like they're balding and from the 80's or 90's or something.

Im not kidding when I realized recently that I was about to comment that a coworkers new hairstyle looked nice for the third time in two weeks. Like drastically different lengths.
