Just get a Traeger and you have the best of both worlds What traeger do you recommend? Can you use charcoal on that? The thing that's making me iffy about the traeger is that it has electrical parts, doesn't sound like it will last as the traditional smoker. --- Justice for All ... Copied to Clipboard!

I try new stuff all the time, but I lean simple texas bbq. if you nail the cook, keeping the recipe simple seems the best to me.
I smoke on a weber kettle and a electric. electric is good for day to day stuff while I'm busy doing other things and the weber I use when I'm just chilling in the back yard relaxing. either way as long as you use them right, both will make rad shit. --- Minimal, yet feature rich. https://imgur.com/bphehs8 ... I picked this up a month or so ago. Feel like it's a decent starter for the price. To dip your toes in. Been working great so far.

That Thing looks like a beast. You ever though about being a bbq street vendor?I don't think its quite big enough to cook enough for that, most I've done at a time was a brisket, pork shoulder, and two racks of ribs. Whats funny is prefer vinegar and fruit based bbq sauce as well as we cook it here, like Georgia/Carolina style. Tends to be too kerchupy sometimes here lol --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
