Today on deck we have particularly threatening antagonists to both Mario and Sonic. Struggling against them is a golfer, a transforming jet, two Xenobladers, two Pokemon, a weird laser thing, and whatever the fuck a Squinkie is.

I was gonna vote Squinkie based on the name but then I looked at the picture and no I think I'm okay on that one.

Smeargle could be a fun character. Make it lightweight and fairly bad at movement, but represent Sketch by giving it user-made custom movesets using any combination of other fighters' moves. That'd probably be a nightmare to actually implement, though.

So I was really hyped to see Golf Story come up because I love that game, but then Shadow and Boo both showed up after and I silently accepted the defeat because I love both of them and want them in

Boo makes no sense as a rep to me. I mean, Nintendo did Piranha Plant so anything is possible, but I feel like random Mario enemy works much better as a one off. King Boo as a villain rep on the other hand would be pretty sick.

Smeargle and Shadow would both be great. Not entirely sure what Boo would do, and I agree that King Boo would be way better.

Shadow should straight-up already be in the game. Why they didn't add him as an echo considering everything they added is beyond me.

Shadow would be better as his own character, not an echo imo. They could easily have a Chaos Control counter and, uh, Gun as a neutral special or something >_>

They should bring Coin Battle back just for Boo. So he can steal a stock for 50 coins.

As much as Boo is needed as another Mario rep, Smeargle would be cool as hell
