I'm not gonna say that the alcohol companies are innocent, but there's a big difference between them and the tobacco companies. How many regular smokers aren't addicted? I'd bet the answer is less than l/10th of a percent.

Me. I like to have a smoke or two on the weekends, thats it.

Alcohol companies are just as bad, its just more socially acceptable. One person with too much to drink can kill a lot of people on the road.

Alcohol is still allowed to be advertised on tv...its ridiculous.

Whenever someone makes one of these topics, I say ban cigarettes, not tobacco, and TC is the only one to ever comment on it. Does no one else have any thoughts on what I'm saying?

Im cool with that, I used to smoke alot
of Pipe Tobacco and found that to be an incredibly enjoyable experience

Totally different too, just an all around different kind of smoke.. dunno about cigars as they tend to have their own character profiles but something about the draw of the actual pipe did bring out all these wonderful notes of the tobacco I was smoking.

The whole process, something about it just feels right

You ever smoke your pipe while sitting in your wood lined den, and lecturing the Beaver for wearing his monster t shirt to school?

Big vapes are bad imo, they put alot of acid in your stomach, plus they require maintenance which might just bring you back to smoking

I recommend Juul because its very reliable. One pod can get me through a day, and you can get 4 for $17 which is still cheaper than cigs.

they have way higher nic % the juice they use is more natural salt-base formula, so 3 4-second puffs will get your fix. Less vape, less acid, more nic

You can buy knock off brands but theyll break in a month i promise. Ive had the same juul for 2 years, even ran it through the washer once on accident and it still works

And your solution is giving evil drug lords another black market item to sell by making cigarettes illegal lmao
People do a lot of bad things illegally. We're not any better if we profit off those things. The solution to exploitation is not to normalize it so "at least the money goes to 'the right places'" If you want to stop drug dealers, then crush them instead of taking their place.

We shouldn't jail heroin addicts, but anyone that produces and sells it is a rotten piece of shit.

Tobacco companies put tons of chemicals, and extra nicotine in their products to make them 10 times more addictive than natural tobacco. Ban cigarettes, not tobacco.

Isn't this basically a conspiracy theory? Certianly, natural tobacco is at least still just as full of nicotine.

Oh yeah that totally works well. Just look how successful that view has been throughout history.

How is that a response to what I posted?

Thats not relevant to the fact the banning things has never worked and that every country who has decriminalized drugs has seen nothing but positive effects as a result.

Decriminalize usage. Don't decriminalize drug dealing. Those scumfucks should be on the fringes of society.

It doesn't matter if there is a market or we can use legal money from it for supposedly good reasons. You're still taking advantage of people for money. Big Tobacco and politicians who benefit from Big Tobacco are no different than Pablo Escobar.

And how are users going to get it? They get it from dealers, where it's not regulated so it can be laced with whatever and people can die instantly from the lacing (just like this current opioid crisis once people have their scripts run out and need to resort to the street).

So you don't want to criminalize usage, but you seem to be ok with them potentially dying from getting unknown shit on the street. When the alternative is taxing it and regulating it to where people know exactly what they're buying and can therefore properly dose every time. While also simultaneously cutting out the black market evil drug lords you hate so much.

Why do you hate drug lords so much but continue to propose policies that would only help them thrive?

I just bought a Vuse vape and it's absolutely disgusting.

Cigarettes are better but I'm serious about quitting.
Its interesting. I've noticed that smokers tend not to like vaping or get nothing out of it if they switch. But people who've never smoked or vaped, love vaping.

I don't want people legally making money from selling addiction and exploiting others. There is no difference between a tobacco exec and a cartel leader, but we call one a legitimate businessman. I have no problem with the tobacco plant being legal. Grow your own. Or these companies can eliminate nicotine from their cigarettes, but removing their guaranteed return customers is bad for their bottom line.

If we believe that something is wrong, then it doesn't follow that it should be legal to profit off that wrong. Is the problem with the drug trade the service or the untrustworthiness?

And some rich fuck bought a 3rd home off knowingly giving him that cancer. That's the guy I have a problem with.

I thought we were supposed to hold people accountable when they hurt others. They knew they were going to turn people into addicts and kill some of them, and they did it anyway.
