the original dub for the buu arcs is basically when Funi finally got their shit together the script is a massive upgrade compared to everything previously, the performances are excellent across the board, this is really where Sabat first put his own spin on Vegeta instead of trying to imitate Drummond, even the music is way better and more consistent than before.

like it's actually just worse. i think the more faithful translation in every other saga in Kai works really well (mostly because the first dub was really fucking bad) but for this saga funi finally kind of understood the characters and how to write a decent script. ofc i'm mostly just talking about vegeta because quite honestly majin vegeta is the only worthwhile part of the entire saga but i digress.
