Moderna or 2 Penises?

scheduled my first shot for next week and the stop and shop offers both, so assuming I have a choice when I get there, which is better to get? I have not researched either one but probably value CE's opinion more than published information about them...

I got moderna and an hour after my shot, forgot I had it. People are over thinking the shot thing, just go get it.

Moderna's technology is less invasive, so personally I would choose it.

yeah, just asking because most stop and shops just have one type and I would get it no matter what but this location offers both, so if I have a choice, I want to choose (if they're like "we're giving you this one take it or leave it" I'll just take it)

blood clot risk is higher with J&J (3x higher if a woman). it's lottery odd's.

side effects: sore arm for a week. injection site pain for 2 days. fatigue for half a day.

If you get the choice Moderna seems to be the "best." But yeah obviously as said not a major difference as long as you get it. I got Pfizer for lack of choice.

pretty sure Moderna has a ~94.5% effective rate vs. J&J's ~79%

it's enough to keep one out of the hospital and severe symptoms. gotta take what's there.

IIRC: Moderna/Pfizer use messenger RNA , while J&J is viral vectored

That's weird that they didn't make you pick when you signed up. I guess they're taking a "you get whatever we have in stock" approach?

If they let you choose, I would go with Moderna, since it's had a higher average protection percentage than J&J

When I was getting my first shot they only had the J&J vaccine that day which I didn't really want and it was like the day after they announced all those people (I think about it was about 6 people) getting adverse side effects from the J&J vaccine, so they let me reschedule for the next Tuesday which is when they were giving the Moderna vaccine which was the one I wanted to get anyway.
