I don't know if the correlation = causation, but Doge was bouncing between the low .5s and the mid .5s, then it shot up to .59 and is now hovering around .56-.59. It seems to be testing the .6 resistance.

I'd say it did go up because yesterday the price was fleeting volatilely between 51 cents and 60 all day. Today, holding strong at 61 cents with anticipation of SNL saturday.
