I am 172 cm and change (58 for Imperial lackeys). You had better believe I have embraced the manlet energy, I have felt it course through me. It has empowered me.
Good things come in small packages, but so does poison. Now, for context, I used to style myself as something of a gothic waif. There was plenty of black, and plenty of small sizes that were still fairly diaphanous on me, accounting for my skinniness. There was always a trimmness of leg, however. M Up until last year, I was always between 52 and 60 kg, for the metric measurement fanatics amongst us. I dont know what I am in Imperial units, since I have been raised in a metric country. I dont quite understand why a country that prides itself on shucking all imperial shackles still adheres to the measurement units, but there you go. It used to serve me well netting both female and male admirers. I suppose there is something about my personality that does not quite translate to online. I suppose. Personally, I find myself unutterably charming. Just take it as read, I used to be very popular in my unattached years. Anyway, I need a new style. I am now 67kg and cannot fit into my stove pipes. I feel and fear the encroachment of moobs and the dad bod. Have at thee. And, for the music: Come back to me a while, change your style again... https://youtu.be/5QML71sBu1E --- Did my singing please you? No, the words you sang were wrong 24 hour party parrot ... I feel like I might need some pics to properly make suggestions, but maybe you could just shift to a grungier, more loose fitting goth look?Well, I am generally camera-shy aside from the occasional post-and-then-delete from a selfie thread. All I can offer is that Im generally top-heavy and trapezoidal. My raw materials have given me fairly broad shoulders without work and a deep rib cage. The plus side to that is that it takes a fair while for me to get a belly that shows, but man boobs become somewhat pronounced. As far as similar celebrities, Ive been compared to Matt Bellamy circa early 2000s sometimes, 90s Billy Corgan sometimes and a short David Tennant very, very many times. My nose could win the Americas cup. Or the Sydney to Hobart. Delete whichever is not applicable. I have a decent bum though despite everything, so thats something. --- Did my singing please you? Im picturing like a tattered sweatshirt with a dress shirt underneath, and some dark wash jeans? Thats the look Ive got in my head.Thats reasonably close to my work look. Generally black slim-fit jeans with a black or dark patterned shirt and 8 hole docs. U used to go boring businesswear (admittedly in dark tones), until I realised nobody cared if I dressed more comfortably, as long as I was able to do my job well. Lately, since Ive been in between sizes Ive been wearing dark red or grey and charcoal tartan pants with a short sleeved shirt with some kind of pattern - it looks reasonably 80s, truth be told. Once again, with the docs. My old style used to be super skinny black jeans with either a slim fit shirt or t-shirt and a black leather blazer, or dark maroon 3/4 length leather jacket (not trench coat length, more of a 70s style jacket). Also, docs. Otherwise casually, itd be super skinny black or red jeans (yes, there is something of a trend) with a semi-designer hoodie that was halfway between a hoodie and pea coat, or an asymmetric vest/waistcoat. If it was cool but not cold, Id go for a very loose army style shirt with epaulettes, worn open with either a strong red or white t-shirt underneath. Usually with either docs or new rock boots. There were also many slim goth rock t-shirts. So many goth rock t-shirts. --- Did my singing please you? No, the words you sang were wrong 24 hour party parrot ... Copied to Clipboard!

67kg is 147 lbs?Sounds about right, I think. In comparison, this time 2019, I was 115lbs (I think?) 53kg. That was probably far too skinny, but I felt damn comfortable. --- Did my singing please you? No, the words you sang were wrong 24 hour party parrot ... Copied to Clipboard!

I have recently been listening to this on repeat and have come to the conclusion it is one of the best cover songs ever. Potentially a hot take, but I love it. https://youtu.be/SEVu1tcUGnc --- Did my singing please you? No, the words you sang were wrong 24 hour party parrot ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think color blocking dark bottoms with dark tops is kind of a faux pas, personally.
An outfit I have in mind with docs (I assume by 8 holes you mean the classic 1460s?) and black slim jeans (cropped and pinrolled if you got them, no distress tho) would be a light gray Henley top with a red and black checked flannel tied around the waist to emphasize the color blocking while also adding a bit of flair for a more punk style. Yeah, its probably a faux pas, but I abhor light coloured shirts for some reason.
That combo has a lot of merit, I should have something to fit the bill. Thanks! Yeah, 1460s. Ive got two black pairs (technically one is Solovair, but theyre better than modern manufacture docs), an ancient oxblood pair that are coming through as natural leather theyre so worn and a pair thats purely casual, which are dark grey suede with white vertical paint streaks. --- Did my singing please you? i feel like a lot of it depends on your build for sure. Personally, if I lighten my bottoms my hips and thighs stand out and make me look dummy thicc which has an overall softening, feminine effect. if I lighten my tops it really brings out the shape of my chest and shoulders and gives me a descending taper, creating a more masculine look. I dont have a preference for one or the other, but its fun to keep people guessing lol. Im still getting used to wearing the lighter tops tbh, I used to only wear black or darkly colored plaid cuz I thought it obscured how fat I was. I bought some plain black tees in my size but theyre mostly relegated to laundry day duty and I dont plan to buy any more.
Damn dude the Solovair in racing green looks incredible, Id like to get a pair eventually. I saw a woman with extremely worn docs last week and they looked awesome! Both my pairs are new so they havent broken in yet and the other day I wore them for a 10 hour shift and they rubbed off a dime sized chunk of my left ankle, so I probably wont wear them again for a week or so. The one thing Im kinda stuck on is jackets, like I have plenty of hoodies and a work coat, but I want to get a couple light jackets that I can use to layer for spring / fall evenings. I dont even know what styles to look for, cuz my whole dress philosophy is pretty much the opposite of how it was even 6 months ago. So, what kinda jackets you wear? --- The web of destiny carries your blood and soul back to the Genesis of my life form. I never be, I never see, I never know ... Copied to Clipboard!

Yeah, I should start playing around with light/dark, it has options.
Docs and their general style analogues are terrible for blisters, for sure. Particularly the newer ones, it seems. They take forever to wear in, but once they are theyre the comfiest things ever. I have... too many pairs. The solovairs are an excellent buy, a bit pricier, but they last for much longer than modern docs. My old go-to was a black leather blazer I picked up when I was in a kinda moddish phase. It was my first big purchase after I got a job at uni. It looks old and busted now because Ive worn it to death, but it goes well if Im affecting a more tattered look. Ive got another jacket thats kinda 70s (well it should be because I accidentally bought vintage). Its more coat than jacket, but its what I wear in the brief periods its cold enough around here. Its kinda a dark, warm brown. My super-casual is just a generic brown leather jacket I picked up one day super cheap because I was cold as crap. I generally stay away from fabric jackets, because I have a big fluffy light coloured cat that sheds his body weight in fur every two minutes. That said, Ive got my semi-designer hoodie Ive almost worn to death. Its hard to describe, but its snazzy enough to wear with a smarter look. Its got weird piping and everything. I dont wear many jackets though, since theres only really about 2 months in the year its cold enough to, and all my others are in storage since my weight increased and all my favourite stuff stopped fitting. --- Did my singing please you?
