and also 80/80

I am a cat herder but with humans instead of cats. Sometimes the cats break the computers and make me cry.

It is fun. I will stay for life.

This wasn't made because I got an email at nearly 9pm on a Saturday saying they need a laptop available for Monday morning because a guest speaker is arriving. That they knew about since two weeks ago

Dairy lead

I hate it, but the day goes by quickly. I'm taking courses at community college to try and become an accountant. I like math and numbers so I'll probably enjoy it, and if not, then I can fall back on statistics because I did enjoy that class.

Healthcare administration and being a landlord too. I like the pay and helping people. Dislike? Uh, staffing issues at work. Length? Indefinite.

I work at Whole Foods. The biggest differences between that company and your average grocery store is that Whole Foods will pay you more, but is absolutely insufferably high on its own farts. The management is awful and the customers all too often manage to be worse.
My coworkers are great though!

System Admin at a large MSP. Liked the office environment before the COVID shutdowns, best office I have ever worked at. I dislike people that work here pretty much. I'll stay another year or two maybe.

Corporate finance Manager for a fortune 500 company.

I like the fact that I know pretty much everything that goes on in the company. Hate dealing with bad/incomplete data yet being expected to produce analysis with confidence

Why?!

It was smaller a few years ago but now they've expanded, bought 5 companies in the last 6 months and got a new CEO. It's annoying as shit, I'm not staying here.

Laboratory Analyst as an Environmental Scientist. I did it cus I wanted to save the planet. 4 years post graduation, I desperately wish I went into banking. The amount of money bankers and investment companies make is just staggering. I have done my part in my making the world a better place, now I want to make sure my children and wife get a great life and I can only do that with a larger income.

Automation Specialist (outside technical pre sales support)
Pros: totally in charge of my own time, nobody breathing down my neck. I have lots of time to focus on things outside of work outside of the standard 8 hour workdays. When it's not covid I go to a few pretty sick conferences around the US.
Cons: all management in my company is completely incompetent and I have absolutely no guidence. Pay is below what I should be making but still enough to live comfortably.

I will hopefully retire from this job in 30 years

I manage the post production aspects at a photography studio and Im often chosen to schmooze with prospective clients because for reasons I don't fully understand they like dealing with me.

We do mostly kids school pictures but we also rent out space to local photographers. Because of this there's often models around the building or retired models that have gone into other aspects of the business. Im one of 3 guys out of around 100 people that work for the company itself. Plus there's guests from other places most days that we regularly deal with who are also mostly women. I'm sexually harassed most days and I love it as long as it doesn't go too far. So far everyone has respected any lines that I've set. My wife is secure enough in our relationship to know that I'm not going to cheat.

My job itself is often frustrating but that mostly comes from my boss who is the owner. My crew is awesome.

I will stay here as long as I'm supplied with an endless amount if attention from eye candy.

CA for me. I'd imagine COL makes a difference as usual. Is that the average or lower/higher end?

Amazon driver

Ill be honest I dont like much of anything about it. Pressure to load your vans fast, pressure to deliver and finish your routes fast, amazon complaining about every single damn thing, and more

Im definitely not staying here. Im leaving once my job (pre-pandemic) opens up again

I still just take contracts doing whatever, but I don't deal drugs anymore. I'm just too old for that, and I'm lucky that I never got caught.

Also, all my girlfriends have had wealthy parents. I don't know that before I date them, but it's been fortunate.

Im a technical recruiter for a mid sized company. I work on a variety of roles, software engineers, data scientists/analysts, technical PMs, UX/UI Designers, etc. I love the hiring teams I work with and just generally chatting with candidates and hearing about what theyre passionate about. I really love being able to build solid relationships with people. I wont be staying with my company much longer sadly. We merged with another company and its been terrible. Everyone is leaving. Im on maternity leave and already several people in my org have quit. I know when I come back, I wont recognize anyone anymore.

Im already in talks with 4 other companies and starting interviews. I didnt go looking for them, theyve all reached out to me. Ive built myself a career in this industry and have a tech background and good reputation so its very easy for me to find something new.

Auto claim representative, I like the fact that it's different every day and I get to make a lot of important liability decisions. I hate the fact that I'm essentially getting every single person on one of the worst days of their lives and getting yelled at. I also hate the fact that files stick with me so if I take a week off all of my crap will be festering and waiting there for me when I get back.

If it's true that they are pulling me back into the office from remote work the first week of July, the end of June will be my last day there.

I have been sending out resumes for a week now and have one interview set up so far.

I manage the cleaning crew at a hotel/casino, been doing this for almost 20 years. It's actually a pretty easy job and the head managers love me so I can get away with alot. The worst parts are taking care of the pool area, families go in there and tear that place up.
