Im actually moving at the end of the month. This keeps happening, and I am pretty sure its the city lines cause it happens every time it rains, but its been getting worse over the past couple months.

if its flooding from the city side its not really something a landlord can fix. something like this happened in my neighborhood a while back, messed up some houses. apparently there was a 'fatberg' clogging the main sewer line...

yeah, but if its happening on the city side there's a good chance others have the same issue and have called. i reported the issue in my neighborhood a number of times (because it was also bubbling out of one of the manhole covers in the road) before they finally did something about it, so go ahead and report it.

Yeah but if it's anything like when I've dealt with the city they'll come in about 3 weeks when you're about to move out >_>

Its only a matter of time before this happens in my town. Its SO overpopulated that the sewers can barely handle the amount of shit flushed and, for whatever reason, it rains and snows way more now than it used to. Theyre also over developing the town, so everything is paved concrete now and there no grass to absorb the rain and snow.

I might pour some boiling water down.
