someone on CE suggested it, and i originally thought it was silly. they're hot pockets, they're meant to be a quick meal. but i was curious, so i baked it. i'll let you know how it taste.

Microwave them most of the way and then pop em in the toaster oven for 5-10 mins. Oven results in way less time

Many food items that are meant to be microwaved but also have oven options are better when cooked in the oven, even when it takes like 10 times longer. Hot pockets... are among them

This. The Microwave is good for quickly heating something, but if you can oven bake it instead, do it. Tastes so much better than the microwave.

With the pandemic going on, they discontinued some of their products. More specifically, they dropped their entire lean pockets line up. I think they removed some of their normal flavors as well.

Anyway, I'm going to be baking some Aldi brand hot pockets tonight.

holy fuck, the aldi brand hot pockets are so damn good. i think i overcooked the crust, but i think thats a good thing. feels more crispy, like im biting into a pretzel.
