Got passed over for the internship at the local bank. That means my only finance-y option left is bank teller. But im not sure they make that much here. Walmart pays $14.50.

I think I got carried away really wanting that internship so I spent the last couple days looking for bank teller jobs. But the thing is, I'm an Information Systems major. I dont like accounting classes. I ain't gonna work in finance. They're stuffy, conservative work environments.

I'm starting to doubt a bank teller job is any better on my resume than a Walmart job? Since I'll be looking for IS or cybersecurity or software engineer sorts of positions.

My rents gonna be a lot higher this year since I'm renting a studio by myself so I should probably pick the highest paying option available

I don't see why you'd pass it up. If you find something better, just leave.

Sums up like 57% of the Walmart I'm stuck in. Kids come, go to college, get new job and leave.
