I hate that he never really got any actual punishment for that shit. Just the thought of it potentially making it harder for someone who experienced actual violence to get justice is horrible. It's one thing just to be a piece of shit, but that was a whole other level of disgusting.

They will never prosecute people who lie about their abuse. They might get obstruction of justice or filing a false report, but that's it. It's already hard enough for real victims to come forth, never mind having to deal with the specter of being prosecuted if someone decides their story doesn't add up.
