Would you cry if you accidentally destroyed your winning lotto ticket due to your clumsiness?
Vote
The SuperLotto Plus ticket for the November 14th draw was sold at Arco AM/PM convenience store in Los Angeles and Thursday was the last day to redeem it...and nobody claimed it. Esperanza Hernandez, an employee said a woman came in the day before to tell them that they put their ticket in their pants and it was destroyed in the laundry The store's manager told KTLA that surveillance video showed the woman who bought the ticket on the day in question and she's known to employees A copy of the surveillance video was turned to the Lottery Commission but the store later recorded over the original footage Despite that, California Lottery officials said it wouldn't be enough to verify the lottery winner The claim will be investigated however as someone who believes he or she is the winner must complete a claim form but if someone loses a ticket, they must provide evidence that they owned it, such as a picture of the front and back fo the ticket If it goes unclaimed, 19.7 million of it will go to California public schools and the store who sold the ticket gets a 130,000 bonus . Hmm... That's not suspicious. They had a copy made. They don't need to keep the original forever lmao. They don't need the video to show they sold the ticket anyway. There have been cases of people getting losing tickets and still getting money.
As the where the ticket is sold is tracked and time of purchases and all. If the buyer can prove they made the purchase they can get the winning. Its a hard process from my understanding. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
