It's delicious. I mostly had it in Stollen growing up and it was always the best part.

My gf made some homemade Stollen last christmas and I was eating slices of the leftover marzipan log for weeks :)

It's not really like marshmallows. It's kinda like Halloween candy corn in terms of consistency but actually tastes good.

I love it. Spanish marzipan is really good but expensive. Danish marzipan is impossible to get. I really want to get marzipan made with bitter almond. I have heard that German Chocolate Cake can be filled with marzipan but I have never found such a cake.

on a related note I've been playing Yoshi's Cookie all day and now I'm really craving some shortbread cookies

especially the kind with the raspberry goo in the middle

Oh man those things are so good. Pepperidge farm sells their own take on them and they're really good. More fruit and less cookie but still tastes great.
